I have nevertheless had the privilege of working with these great folks on many projects and including them on the list of "friends" to give them a shout-out to all their customers - outdoor and camping retailers across the continent.

Bob established Red Pine Outdoor Equipment in 1990. He started the company in the smallest bedroom of the family’s home. Every step of the way they made certain that each and every product carried met his high standards. Even today Bob tests almost all of the new products they introduce, making sure that they are durable, functional and good value. He continually tests Red Pine’s products on his many river trips – the Thelon, Nahanni, Wind, Bloodvein and the Petawawa, to name a few.

Bob’s family has always been supportive of the company’s growth. His boys have grown up with Red Pine – getting involved in both the business and the enjoyment and appreciation of the outdoors that Bob encourages.  

Today, RPOE occupies two warehouses and an office front. They have over 750 customers across Canada. No matter how large they get, Bob and the Red Pine team will continue to place the highest priority on ensuring that their customers are satisfied with their products and service.
