REVIEW - Zpacks Arc Air

REVIEW
Introduction
My favourite backpack for the last few years has been the Zpacks Nero... will the Arc Air change that. This NEW kid on the block has a different fabric, greater volume, and weight load capacity. I have created a video review and share my thoughts.

Conclusion
It's a great pack. But I still prefer backpacking without a hip belt.
The Arc Air is created and designed to use with a belt exclusively, and hip-belt-less is not an option. So I will be sticking with my Nero on most trips for now.
However, if you need a quality light pack, that carries comfortably a volume over 40L and weight more than 18lbs... definitely put the Zpacks Arc Air on your wish list!

My Zpacks' Family: Arc Air Robic, Nero DCF, and the classic Arc Haul
What Zpacks Says…From those grueling east coast ascents to long water carries across the desert, the Arc Air is a durable pack designed to be the ultimate combination of simplicity and function. Featuring custom Curved Carbon Fiber Air Stays, the Arc Air creates a gap between your back and the pack without the need for a mesh back panel. The frame transfers weight to your hips, keeping the weight off of your shoulders and providing a comfortable fit. The ROBIC® version of the Arc Air is highly durable and provides added abrasion resistance over the DCF version. Featuring adjustable shoulder straps, an interchangeable belt, and a variety of optional modular add-ons, the Arc Air is sure to become your pack of choice. From website >> Zpacks |
